How To Activate My Simple Mobile Account And What You’ll Need: Simple Mobile account, Simple Mobile SIM card and a Sim based Cell phone or unlocked sim based phone.

1) Once you purchase your simple Mobile sim card (and simple mobile or unlocked gsm phone if applicable) return to the PhoneSmartusa website and fill out the information/activation form located towards the bottom of the page. Fill out the entire form and wait for a Phonesmart Rep to call or email you.

2) Once you receive your phone(If applicable) and sim card call or email us and have this information ready; current phone number and carrier information if porting your current number. Have the isn/esin number from your phone(usually located under the phone battery) available.

Replacing and/or inserting your sim card:

1) Turn off your phone before inserting the SIM card. When you open an account with Simple Mobile you will receive a SIM card on a flat plastic card the size of a credit card. The SIM card is slightly larger than the size of a thumbnail. Detach the SIM card from where it is attached on the plastic Simple Mobile card.

2) Find the battery cover release button. It is located in different locations according to what type of phone you have. It's usually at the top of the phone towards the back. Push the button and gently pull the back cover off the phone.

3)Pull the battery out. Underneath where the battery was, you will notice a small steel door that has gold contacts behind it. Open the door carefully to expose the gold contacts.

4)Take your SIM card and place it gold contact-side down, so that gold is touching gold. Close the small steel door.

5) Put the battery back, making sure it snaps into place and that gold is still touching gold. Then place the back cover back on the phone, ensuring that it snaps back into place.

6) Turn the phone on. Your information should be correctly stored into the phone.
